WILDLIFE

Apart from micro wildlife such as bugs and bees, the area has it’s share of wildlife. Within the centre there are around 4 different species of Bat. You may also find pheasant, snipe, partridge and grouse. Vole also exist by the pond and you can spot their holes at and below the water level. The pond is rich in fish life with some Brown Trout around 2-3lbs weight. No fishing allowed!!!!! There is a wide range of wildlife outside of the Centre, and not welcome within! such a rabbits, foxes, otters and hedgehogs.

    From M2 follow signs to Ballymena. At Seven Towers Roundabout, follow M2 to sign for Ecos Centre. Turn right off slip road following sign to Broughshane. Turn left at the mini roundabout in Broughshane and park in the car park on Knowhead Road.
